And the frost resistance, yeah well :/ it is required. The 3 epic parts is anyway, not a dire need for the 10 man, it's doable without as long as we've got a shaman/paladin for aura/totem, combined with some willpower, sweat and sardines.
But for the 25 man I strongly recommend it.

And, as for those who have difficulty with the name; using the Japanese pronunciation for the name Kyouya means it should be pronounced as follows: ki-YOO-ya (Emphasis on the YOO!). Famous references for Kyouya can be found in, of course, Kyouya Izayoi, master swordsman and spiritual adept, immortalized in the epic anime Monster City Shinjuku.

Talents

You seem to have a Destruction specc, and part Demonology but foregoing Demonic Empowerment. I am not entirely sure what the aim for this specc is, is it for leveling? My depth of knowledge concerning warlock speccs that are not cookie-cutter is not so great, so perhaps you could explain me what the specc is meant to do? If it's a good one, I am interested! ^_^

Gear

Lots of level 70 gear, and even Frozen Shadoweave which since its nerf in the patch is not as good as a lot of badge/ZA/raid gear. Considering you also have a large deficiency in +Hit, I'd suggest going for a set of Ebonweave, which gives Spellpower and Hit. Once this is in, it's going to take some heroics and reputation gear to increase Haste and Crit, which are more important for Destruction than for the other talent trees.

There's still a lot of work to be done here; I will see if I can make a list of some easily obtained gear that will make you geared-up for Naxx-25. I will see what I can dig up on this and come back to you.

Of course, I can understand that Kyouya's recently been leveled and primed for raiding, so I can fully see why he's not in prime shape ^_^.

Let me start by saying, if ever after Nata's explanation you STILL cannot pronounce it: Kyo(Kee-yoo) or Ky will do xD, thanks... *bow*

RAWR I had totally misread the resistance set part... with emphasis on the: Offspecgear-thing, I really DO understand I need the Frostthingy set xD of course... silly me.

As for spec, I have about the same spec as Fumoffu has, currently. Both of us have the same spec as the leading raid-locks in the game, namely that of the warlocks in Ensidia (Former Nihilium). It's based on one thing: Fire. Immolate, Corruption, Curse of Elements or Curse of Agony(Depends if you have another lock) And then spam Incinerate. Said spell has about 2 sec cast time so is reaaaally nice and faster than Shadowbolt, which was nerfed a little with WotlK (or so I read... >_>
On top of that the little annoying jumping football (The imp) also attacks, he has a pretty nice DPS when geared properly.

Which leads me to my gear... err... blargh D:... yes well I ran heroic Violet Hold last night and won the azure bracers so that's a start... xD And yes I am working on the Ebonweave set first and foremost. I just need people who can make the ebonweave cloths D:... damn cooldown >_>...

So I'm working on several things at the same time and will just grab heroics along the way to snatch some caster stuff. I REALLY need to get rid of that lvl 70 crap xD...

I am unfortunately going to have to play devil's advocate in this post. Please be aware that I can vouch for you based on personality, definitely, but there are some questions I need to ask, and some things I have to say. These things will likely come across as pointy and blunt, for which I apologise - but I do feel they are very important for the review of your application. Please be aware that I am treating this application as seriously as any other, regardless of whether you have been a member of Saga before. It was your own decision to leave, and I *have* to take the circumstances of your leaving into account here.

I will start by providing some background information on why Kyouya decided to leave Saga initially. This ties in directly with my request, in the Wrath news post, to inform the officers if you were to do something major in the expansion, say, change your raiding main. In Kyouya's case, she switched to a Death Knight main...and unfortunately did not inform any of us of her decision. As a result, we closed the DK spots when we got three people that wanted to raid on DKs - which did not include Kyouya.
Like any raiding community, we have limited raiding spots available for any role, class and spec. Beside Kyouya, we had several more people switching mains, predominantly to tank and melee DPS spots...away from healer and ranged DPS spots. We wound up with a severe lack in healers and ranged DPS as a result, one that we're trying hard to resolve. Following this, I had a long discussion with both Kyouya and Genji, explaining them that I really could not make any more room for yet another DK. At the end of the discussion, Kyouya decided to leave Saga, as we could not open a spot for her Death knight, and Genji went with her. As we parted ways in a friendly fashion, and I know both Kyouya and Genji to be kind and helpful people, I agreed in letting them stay on the Saga channel.


Now, on to the comments & questions part - once again, Kyouya, I apologise if they are blunt or pointy. I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm trying to review your application objectively, like I would do for anyone else applying to Saga. I won't sugarcoat it, and I won't dance around the issue...which unfortunately does mean there is no way I can make these things sound nicer.

First, your application strikes me as rather short, and not very detailed. It seems to me that it's written as if you expect it to be little more than a formality. Also, and I am aware this is not in our generic application questionaire...I would like to know why you decided to come back to Saga?

Secondly, I am aware that you have had many different mains in the past, which to me is a bit of a tricky thing - I'm in charge of maintaining the raiding roster, which means I *have* to know, with certainty, what classes and specs we have in Saga, and which spots I need to open up for recruitment. Now, you have switched back you raiding main to Kyouya...what made you decide to do so? And, most importantly, will you stay on Kyouya, or will I find you trying to raid on your Death Knight? How will you react if you wish to switch mains again, and there once again is no spot open? Remember, you left us once before...and I need to know whether this will happen again or not.

Lastly, whether or not we will hold a trial run is not yet carved in stone. Indeed the same rules apply for everyone - which means that like with any applicant, your posts here in this thread are a large part of the decision to invite you for a trial run or not. And like any other applicant, you'll truly need to impress us.

I'll just rewrite it with answering the questions directly because I don't want to spend another hour only to have it deleted again.

Regarding the background information: While I fully understand the predicament the many main-switches have caused. I really want to emphasize the reason this all happened was because I was unsure what to do. I didn't feel it was right to just think: I KNOW I will like DK more than lock, so I will switch, before I had actually tried the class. I played my Lock, played my DK, doubting what I liked best. And when I had decided I liked DK, I was too late. That is what happened, I did not know about informing officers, I did not know because I'm not in the Saga guild and I hadn't checked the site while intensively playing through the new content. I'm not blaming anyone(perhaps myself). I just wanted to point out WHY. Also my DK was listed as a casual, which is what I strived for, not to leave the guild. Genji and me had no idea with what we did we'd actually leave the guild.

My application:
I wrote it to be short because I didn't think it was necissary to retype the information from my first application(With Haelyn) as I didn't think of my returning to casual status was going to be seen as leaving the guild, which was not my intention at all. If you still want the full story, on my history in WoW I can retype it all?
Anyway, I want to return to Saga-raiding because I feel I belong there, between people I enjoy talking to and playing with. I see many people in Saga as friends of mine.

My switching habits:
I have played all classes so far, some to 30/50, most beyond lvl 60. I did this because I wanted to find my playing niche. I found myself playing a lot of classes I 'liked' but didn't really bond with. Playing a DK is a class I *love*, seriously, I love how it combines the nice things of a paladin(Which I played to 70) and the speed of a warrior(which I played to 54). But since DK's aren't exactly wanted, on to warlock. I have played warlock as the second char I created on this server, mind you that's about 2,5 years back. I have loved the class always, from start to end and I still do.

It always takes me long to find what I like(Has been like this all my life) and perhaps I still haven't found it but Warlock comes very damn close. So yes, I do *love* this class. I love the diversity and when played right, large numbers it produces. So I'm torn between two chars dear to me, DK and warlock. But with recent happenings I'll have no choice but to play my warlock.
Don't get me wrong, I don't play reluctantly. I like Lock as much as I like DK. I just liked my DK as much because I had gotten her to 80, lvled her professions to max, gotten her awesome gear (etc etc). I'm sure when my lock is geared and stuff I'll love him just as much, if not more.

So yes, I want to stick with Kyo.

Something I found works amazingly well to save you from this maliciously-timed menace, is to type out your posts in Notepad, save in between if needed, then copypaste them in the thread. (Grig and Kai have made it clear in no uncertain terms that I've I'd EVER dared tocopypaste something directly from Office again, I'd be dealt with...meep!).

Anyways, on to what it's all about: your application! Thanks for taking the time write up those answers, and clear this up for me. I had to be certain of the things I asked...and really didn't know how else to put many of those questions. Looking at your post here, though, I think you've understood them the way I meant them, thankfully.
Nat's already discussed your talents and gear, so it looks like it's now a matter of making sure you get that gear together to raid. We've got several crafters that should be able to help you out in that department. Also, there are plenty peeps running heroics, so it shouldn't be overly hard getting a few upgrades from there, too. Of course, a couple of good enchants will really make a difference as well.

Promise me this, though; in the future, keep yourself up-to-date on the site. It's about the only tool us officer gits have to reach the entire community at once, and it's where we post all important news, events and decisions. There's simply no other way for us to reach everyone! And as you've noticed with the DK spots...you'll seriously miss out on a lot if you don't check it regularly.

Now, when did you say you were available for a trial run?

Well I can usually run anytime I'm online as long as it's not too near 11 PM (College next day).

Tomorrow(friday) I have from about 1PM till as late as I can manage to stay awake xDD Same goes for saturday =) So if I'm online and it's not near 11PM on regular weekdays I can be poked =D.
